The Happy Analogues release their second music video: Tangay ng Anod
Still high from the March release of their seminal second album, School Tales– a concept-double album about school life in the Philippines, The Happy Analogues have released their first music video off the said album, and their second music video as a band.
The new music video is for their first single, Tangay ng Anod, which is a song about friendship. It was directed by Sheryl Garcia-Reyes, who also directed their first video for their single Beautiful Pain off their debut album Lilacs and Politics back in 2007.
Ms. Garcia-Reyes’ concept for Tangay ng Anod was to document the band’s summer 2008 road trip to Towson, Maryland for an open air gig organized by Bionic Leg Productions.
The laid back docu-type direction matches the melancholic vibe of the song, which is currently the favorite among the band’s supporters.
The Tangay ng Anod music video can now be seen here.
School Tales the album is available here as well as their record label’s website: www.soulworksrecords.com
The Happy Analogues are: Ted Reyes, Ronnie Lao, Paul Zurita and Rich Saguirre.
